Welcome
To the Rusty Knifers, we are a bunch of people that have one thing in common, we love to throw. from the beginner, who as never thrown anything before, to the pro's, who have been throwing for years.
Who can join?
Anybody can join the Rusty Knifers. as long as you’re over 10 years of age, ( under 18’s must be supervised by a parent or guardian).
Do I need any special skills?
No, anybody can throw, you dont use strengh, its technique. once you learn that, its just practice, and more practice.
Do I need any special equipment?
No, we provide everything you need, in time, you might wish to buy a set of Knifes/ Axes but will will help you select the best deals for you.
How much is membership?
Membership is £15.00 per year, this covers personal insurance, to use any KATTA range (Knife, Axe, Tomahawk Throwing Association) UK.
When do you meet?
The Rusty Knifers meet on a Thursday evening from 6 - 9 pm, but members can use the range at anytime we are open ( unless we have a private event on). this is to help members work round work and life commitments.
How much does it cost?
We charge a flat fee of £15.00 per session, normal club hours are Thursdays 6-9pm , so its a great price and you get to do challenges other people don’t get to do.
we love the sport and our aim is to get more people in to it.
